The race director will distribute course notes to all registrants via email approximately 2 weeks before the race start. This will help you pack and plan.
All race participants must attend the pre-race brief at the Pavilion in Crossroads Park (1101 N Poplar St., the finish line location across from the host hotel) on Wednesday, August 9, at 4:30PM.
After maps and course notes distribution teams enter “lockdown.” Lockdown means teams are not allowed access to outside information related to the course, including Internet access, smartphones, tablets, smart watches, etc.
Team Member Information
Each member must be registered in the online registration system. Team captains must ensure all team members are registered within 14 days of securing the team’s spot (see “Signing Up”). For assistance please contact email@example.com.
Race Merchandise & Swag
We have some great swag for participants. Make sure you let us know your correct t-shirt size when you register. Size should be given for unisex clothing. Additional merchandise will be available for sale throughout the event at the finish line and host hotel.
Race bibs will be sized according to your shirt size. We allow for gear and fit over PFDs so just use your normal size when registering. Bibs will be printed with team number, team name, and nationality.
Team Name and Changes
No team name changes can be accepted after August 1st. Team names are limited to 32 characters and should not start with the word “team.” During the AR World Championship your team name will be preceded by your country or your country’s three letter code. Please note that race bibs have already been custom printed, so any name changes will not be reflected on them.
